Slow in Reviewing Scripts

  • You all seem pretty slow in reviewing scripts....

  • I'd rather have slow, steady and accurate then some of the other things I've seen posted on the web elsewhere. Take your time Steve and keep up the good work !

  • Posted a script on July 6th. No review yet.

Yes, I agree that all submissions must be reviewed very carefully, but I still think this is slow. Perhaps the mgmt should recruit some trusted reviewers.

  • Jeff,

This is not a pay per response site, it is mostly peers offering the odd snippet of experience to help out others. If you truly require immediate response, why not log a ticket with MS.

  • I did not ask a question.

I submitted a script on July 6th and have heard nothing in over two weeks.

This is slow response to me. It is a disincentive for me to submit any additional scripts.

  • Jeff,

I apologize, I misinterpreted your post.

  • No problem.

  • Apologies for that. It's kind of a low priority item. Actually I should remove it and just let people vote on scripts.

  • Steve, please do not stop reviewing things. It's one of the most positive attributes of this site - I know when I get a script from SSC it's OK. I do not have to take the time to review it in detail. Ask for volunteers possibly to assist. Send them the script and ask for results. Maybe of you had a small number of 'volunteers' thst would help as well. I'd certainly can afford to devote a bit of time to a worthy task such as that. I'm sure that there are other community members that can do so as well.

  • I agree that scripts should be reviewed. Please ask for volunteers and have the scripts reviewed by 3 peers, then make your judgment. It's the way they do it in academia.
