Can I process 2 cubes simultaneously on the same database using 2 instances of AS. The cubes are using separate FACT tables and a few shared dimensions besides their private dimensions.
I've recently taken up a new job and the person I've replaced has left STRICT instructions in his handover notes NOT to process 2 cubes together.
Please help!

Yes you can, if you process each cube without processing related dimensions. Before to process the cubes, process the shared dimensions.

The 2 cubes do share a few dimesions which I will process prior to processing the cubes. They can have similar private dimesions too. Will it be possible to process the cubes then?

Yes them can be processed, since private dimensions exists only within the cube.
