We are testing the simple log shipper that comes with 2000 Resource kit, on 2000 Standard edition. It seems to run fine for all our databases, but it does not stop running. Even if we start a job to run for only one hour it just keeps going. They do stop if we stop the job manually but I'm worried that something is corrupt and want to solve it before we go live. Any clues ???
There are three schedules: backup, copy\load, load in a log shipping. And there are not schedule for a proccess lenght, only for intervals of these three types. As I remember the log shipping must be terminated manually
