  hi, how do you create a simple table in SSRS 2008 with no dataset for it i.e. I just want an empty table so I can populate with some formulas. There are errors coming up saying tablix not associated with dataset. When you select "none" for datasetname property is still shows error.

  At the moment, I'm creating several textboxes and joining them very closely together to simulate the look & feel of a table. Is this not possible?

  A table needs data...I'd simply create a dummy dataset that returns some blank records.
