I tried to install the MS-SQL 7 Sever Std. Ed on W2K Adv Server using a setup.iss I got a message I am sure most people has seen before. I searched in google.com but did not yield any tips that helped. The error message says, "command line length exceeded - place the files referenced by the -f1 and -f2 command line arguments in a shorter path." I changed the TMP and TEMP environmental variables to c:\temp but still did not work after a reboot. I am sure I am missing something. Any insights /advises ? Thanks.

Perhaps, I did not make myself clear. Some other posts in the newsgroup suggests that when the installation kicks in, it will uncompress the file to c:\documents and settings\administrator\local settings\tmp. Therefore, I changed the variables, tmp and temp, to use c:\temp instead. However, it is still not working, meaning there is something else that the installation uses still exceeds the limit in Command line. Any thoughts ? Thanks.
