Signature Pad data

    I have a customer that wants to store a signature from a signature pad. What datatype is this? I believe we are running 2005. I see an 'image' as one of the datatypes, would this be it?

    It will depend on the output of the sig pad so the answer will be specific to the hardware and software provided by the vendor...I suggest you work with them.

    One comment about your post though...do not use the IMAGE data type, it is deprecated...use VARBINARY(MAX) instead.
