  Hello,

  Creating a sandbox environment to test patching in SQL 2016 SP1 alwaysOn instance. Is this possible to shutdown the instances (2 nodes, +1 witness (shared location) over the weekend and once it's back online there is no impact with the AlwaysOn and it will be in sync automatically? I do not care much about the databases, as the primary objective is to test the patching and to carry out other tests in the SQL Server, but I need the alwaysOn to function properly. If the DB is out of sync, I'm still good.

  Looking for your advice/thoughts on this, please?
