I want to shrink my data file so which is the best method from following to gain the physical space to O.S.
Method 1)
1)shrink the data file then
2)execute the index rebuild

Method 2)
1)execute the index rebuild then
2)shrink the data file
----or--------
is there any good method other than thsese two ...?
