Should we use replication ?

    Requirement:

    To move data periodically from 3 OLTP servers to one datawarehouse box. Data will then be quiered by reporting apps. How should we move the data to the datawarehouse e.g job/replication ? If replication what model?. I considered snaphot replication with push subscription? Can anyone with any experience in setting up datawarehouses help out ? Data will be read only on the datawarehouse. Many thanks

    I think more knowledge of what you are trying to accomplish is neccessary.  For example snapshot might not be a good idea for OLTP if you have large tables.

    Are all servers 2000 or are some 7.0?

    Why not transactional which we use and then ETL routines to build summaries and fact tables.
