We are using SQL server 2017 now on premise. I am wondering if we need to upgrade to SQL server 2019. And no plan to use Azure.
We do not need those new features and all our applications runs fine currently on SQL 2017..
Or should I wait for next version of SQL server?
Thanks

Only if you need to use one of the new features. Do you?

Thanks, that is what I am thinking too. We are not using the new features.
And Only when we need to move to a new instance, then we can upgrade

I wouldn't upgrade until I ran out of support or had another need.
