Hi
Recently there was some problem with IIS and our Sharepoint application didn't work.
We have backup of all the sql server databases created through Sharepoint.
Is there any option that we can install Sharepoint & map to the old databases, so that we can get the data which was existing in the Sharepoint application.

In general - yes, but it depends on your environment. If you don't have too complicated environment - reinstall SharePoint, create application pools and web applications, then using Central Administration Console - attach Content databases to the applications. You will have in this case reconfigure search, reinstall any solutions, custom web parts etc. Make sure that service accounts (application pool accounts) are the same.

Also there are couple of things to keep in mind.
you also need to know about the which version of sharepoint was in used before. This means is any updates, hotfixes and sp are installed then it should matched with the old backups version otherwise you are not able to attached the DB.
Need to have a SharePoint farm admin on SQl Server side as a DB Creator and Db Security Admin Role.
