Does anybody know about when SharePoint 2010 is going to be released? PeformancePoint will be merging with SharePoint, and I am looking for an approximate release date.

So far the only thing that has been announced is H1 of 2010. Nothing more beyond that has been released so far. Don't forget that the next release will only be x64, so plan accordingly.

am assuming you're interested in the Reporting part of PPS versus Planning, but just in case, you should be aware of the little bit of life put back in to PPS planning (overview here).
