Hi,
In BI Studio, shared data source credentials are being cleared - only after
logging-off (eg they are saved Ok when closing/re-opening BI Studio). After logging on
again the credentials are set to "No credentials".
This started when we moved to Vista - we are using SourceSafe.
Anyone know how to prevent this?

The problem is not related to Vista it is a known issue with shared datasource dropping permissions, the only solution I know add the permission back before deployment.

I had it with XP using both VSS and TFS so it is native to SSRS it will be fixed when the SSRS team accepts it as a bug. I gave it to them in person.

Found the cause of this - turning off User Account Control fixes it - also explains why we didn't get the issue under XP.
