Hi, I would like to set a parameter value based on a click on a report.
I have a list of supporters and when I click on the supporter name, I would like it to set a parameter value to their userid which is used as the parameter on a chart that shows supporter utilization.
The parameter value is set to null when the report is opened so the chart is blank but clicking on the supporter name should send a value to the parameter so that the chart can display the selected person's utilization.
Is this possible through an expression?
Thanks, really would like to accomplish this.

I guess you are looking for report navigation. Right click on the supporter field --> Navigation --> Jump to report --> Select same report.
Now set the parameters values same as the selected values except Supporter parameter. Set this parameter with supporter field value.

That is brilliant Hari. I never thought of jumping to the same report.
It works perfectly in preview mode but when I deploy it, it tells me that the SupporterID parameter is read only when I click on the supporter name. Still troubleshooting that one.
Thanks for the guidance.
