Setting criteria filter for transfer from txt to xls.

    Hi,

    I am doing a simple data transfer of a txt file to xls. I would like to know how I can use vbscript in the transformation to specify criteria that I would like to use to filter the transformation.

    For example, the text file has several fields or more. I would like to only transfer the data for a row into the spreadsheet if the col that equates to "day"  doesn't equal "Tues" .

     

    To clarify: I set up this DTS using the import/export wizard, and havent' changed it much beyond the format that the wizard created.

    this is going to be a routine schedule.

     

    At this point, I think that I am making good headway on using the VBScript to get what I want. -- the editor can be not so nice when it doesn't like the relationships and insists on deleting all of my work. But, I think that i am doing good for now.
