Setting calculated measure (member) as Default member of Cube

    Hi All,

    In AS 2000, I used to have a calculated measure (Member) as default measure for the cube.

    Similar setting is not available in AS 2005 and it is allowing only the default measures to be selected

    for this property.

    Any way we can set the calculated member as default measure i.e. by running any script or any other setting?

    Please let me know if any idea.

    Not sure if this will work - but try specifying the calculated measure name in the cube's xml code view. I think its in the element "DefaultMeasure" or something similar.

    Hi,

    I found the naswer from Microsoft Portal:

    ALTER CUBE CURRENTCUBE UPDATE DIMENSION Measures, DEFAULT_MEMBER=[Measures].[Profit]

    This will set my calculated member as Default member
