set up job for alter column

  I need to alter table for alter column and add new column which i want to do off peak time. How cud i set up a sql job to run all the sql cmds in the job.

  Create a job and select the job category as T-SQL.

  Write your alter table statement and schedule the job at your off-peak time.schedule it to occur only once.
