I ran servpriv.exe on a Windows 2000/SQL Server 2000 server before Service Pack 3 was out. However, now that the privileges have been set, I can not successfully install Service Pack 3. Will running SQL 2000 Critical Update Wizard make all the updates that Service Pack 3 would have made?

My understanding is no. However here is the MS KB Article on it. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813944

As I said before, I ran servpriv.exe before Service Pack 3 was out. When I ran Service Pack 3 the first time, I got several messages like:File replacement was attempted on the protected system file msdaora.dll. This file was restored to the original version to maintain system stability. The file version of the bad file is 2.71.9030.0, the version of the system file is 2.52.6019.0.
I ran SQL 2000 Critical Update Wizard and then I ran Service Pack 3 again. This time I did not get the messages, but the files are still at the old version numbers. When I install Service Pack 3, I do not get any error messages. How do I get Service Pack 3 installed? Or if Service Pack 3 is really installing, then why are the file version number not changing?
