Hi All,
We have installed SQL Server 2005 with SP2, later some time upgraded it to SP3, then application team is facing some issues, So they are asking to revert back to SP2. Can we do this ?
As far as I know we cannot uninstall Service pack seperately. We need to uninstall whole SQL Server. Is there any way that we can uninstall Service pack only ?
Thank You.

I haven't had the need to revert to sp2, but at this time I would investigate if the issues your team experiences are addressed in SP4 ( or the available Cumulative updates), rather than a revert to sp2.
If you add the issues, we may be able to help out.

There is no way to backout a service pack for SQL 2005. The only method is to un-install SQL Server and re-install to SP2. AND... I hope you have backups of master, msdb from BEFORE you upgraded to SP3 because you will need them.
