Is anyone currently planning or working on building a system using either SQL Server 2000 or 2005 that uses service oriented architecture? We have a mandate to rebuild our main system using SOA, and I am googling SOA as fast as I can, but I don't see much specific info on how to design a SS2K database for use by services. Any ideas? tnx, Dave

The database design should not be affected by SOA or any other system architecture. The database should reflect the meaning of the data that it stores. The arcitecture chosen to expose and present that data is irrelevant.
