I'm getting started with a project that is going to use Service Broker, and this is my first dive into that area of SQL. It's the perfect place to get our feet wet - a non-critical, only running during business hours, can be down for short periods implementation, but I would like to show that we can use it elsewhere when it is the right option so I want to set it up right. What reading would you recommend beyond the BOL and MSDN entries? Is there a book or blog post that you found to be invaluable when configuring, monitoring or debugging SSB?
Thanks,
Chad

I haven't seen much lately, but there's a blog here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sql_service_broker/
You can ping them for stuff if you need it. There's a book from Amazon that I have, but it was written early, and not sure that it's a great book. Haven't done enough with it to know if it's good: http://www.amazon.com/Rational-Server-Service-Broker-Guides/dp/1932577270
There's another "Pro" book that I haven't read, but it's rated highly by a couple people. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001W0ZD36/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=1932577270&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1HDK0NAQW13BH06E35VR

Sweet, thanks Steve and Lutz. I think I'll pick up the Pro book and read though those blogs before I begin. I convinced them we would save money by purchasing a book and 2+ recommendations for the same one is good enough for me. We'll actually be implementing on 2K5, but I prefer the 2K8 book since it's only a matter of time until we migrate and I should be able to figure out the differences (hopefully). I'd rather have to figure out how to "downgrade" what I read than not realize I could upgrade later.
Thanks,
Chad
