Hi,
Iam using the abcservice as servic eaccount which domain account. My question is this Domain account should be added to the Local Administrator group of the box or NOT?
Please see the attachement to better understand.

No!
In SQL Server 2005 the account does not need to be part of Local Admin group. If you configure the SQL Server services using SQL Server Configuration manager it will get proper permission assigned to it.
In SQL 2005 you never do any assignment using just regular Service console; always use the "SQL Server Configuration Manager" becuase it will do permissions for the account you choose on what SQL Server will need to operate.
