Server timeout errors

    Hi,

    I am continuing to experience SQL Server timeout errors on the "a" data base on server b even though the overall load on the server is low.

    Please advise

    Hi Helen,

    Do you mean you are running remote queries on a different server?  What kind of query?

    What kind of a time-out is it ? Query timeout or connection time out ? I believe you meant Query time-out. If so, do you have "remote query timeout" or "query governor cost limit" set up on the DB Server ?
