I'm using SQLSERVER 2000.Unexpectedly my sqlserver has been rebooted.It is a cluster server.following error found in eventlog

Do you have anything else to go on (like windows log). That seems a bit thin to go on to me.

I never had that problem nor read about it, I'll let the other prod dbas handle this one.

Is there anything in the SQL logs? or within that directory on the server some dump files?

No..I could not find any sql error logs.

If you have SQL installed and have had it running then they exist. Try looking for your SQL installation folder and drill through there you are looking for a file called ERRORLOG and the older ones ERRORLOG.1, ERRORLOG.2 etc
