Have you ever seen this?: We were having issues with one server (Win2000 SP3 & SQL Server2000 SP3).

sorry got carried away with the enter key. Anyway, support felt it was due to lack of memory. When we tried to make changes to the server properties memory tab, closed it then went back in later, none of the changes took. Again & again we tried but no luck. Support re-installed SP3 for Win2000 & SQL Server2000, still no luck. Support used QE & sp_configure to change the settings for memory. Now when I look at the server properties dialog, IT STILL displays the wrong settings even though the sp_configure says otherwise and so does task manager. Why are they out of sync? Can this ever be fixed without having to rebuild the server? We are preparing for the worst, but I was hoping maybe somebody out there has seen this before and could possibly have a solution. Thanx in advance for your help. jmonty

I'd go with what I see in sp_configure. It's possible that the EM is pulling some information from somewhere else, but I'd bet that the sp_configure is what the server uses.
