Hi Gents,
i am administrating one remote SQlSelver 2000, on Windows 2000 server. but now i am not able to connect the server. when i try register the server in the Enterprise manager it gives the following error message.
"SQL server registration failed because of the connection failure displayed below. Do you wish to Register anyway?
SQL server does not exist or access denied.
ConnectionOpen (Connect())"
From other machine i am able to connect. i am using the correct tcp port server name, etc...
Kindly help me guys.

Can you ping the SQL Server's DNS Name or IP address ? Can you telnet to port 1433on the SQQL Server ?
