Hello,
I have a user, who is trying log into the server, but everytime he gets this error saying something about the Group policy denies him access.
This user needs access and i'm trying to understand how to grant it to him.
I have been looking into how i can access the group policy editor, but the farthest i can get is the Local group policy editor.
What do do once i'm here? how do i make sure this specific user has access?

you'll need to speak to your domain admin as they will push AD policies and permission to filter or remove them.
Why are you trying to grant the user RDP access to the server?

Thanks. I have contacted the Domain admin for help.
I'm not sure what you are referring to by RDP?
This specific user is actually a system admin like me and has always had access. But for the past month he has been getting this error.
We are all a bit new to the sql server world, so trying to figure out what went wrong.
Thank you for help.

This turned out to be an easy fix.
An oversight - when connecting to the server - the domain name was pre populated with the server name. By changing it to the users domain name, and then logging in, fixed the issue.
