i ve a requirement to build sql 2005 server , enterprise edition , what are the factors to be considered and how to build a new server .

hardware is cheap
we are configuring all our new SQL servers as x64 unless there is a specific need for 32bit. even then we just try to dump all 32 bit onto some "legacy" servers we have.

You haven't really given enough information. What's the server for? How is it used? Load?
Or are you saying how to get SQL Server onto a server? It's a simple install.
