Hey guys,
I have DTS task which need to send a failure email notification of the data tranformation task between text source and sql as destination server, fails due to mismatch of fields. After transformation task i have put "on failure" workflow and have made to execute send mail task.
The problem here is as soon as the transformation fails the DTS just gives the mismatch error message insted of executing onfailure send email task.
Can anyone plz let me know who an onfailure workflow work after transformation task or an VB script which can handle this scaniro

Have you cross-checked the task flow properties? Sometimes one may unintentionally change the flow properties....

tnx for the reply..i was able to find the solution for my question..it was the 'Fail on first Error' checked on Logging tab in package properties 🙂
