Send Mail Task Error

    Hello,

    I created a dbmail account with smtp server and i am able to send test mails with that account,but when i create a send mail task in an SSIS package with the same smtp connection i get the following error :[Send Mail Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "The server committed a protocol violation The server response was: 80 202 OK". " I tested the same on other servers and it worked.. any suggestion would be appreciated..thanks...

    You might try restarting the SQL Agent.

    Hi,

    You need to explore your SSIS task. Is it connecting to internet to some webservice? Seems like .NET Issue.

    thank you for responding..no Chidambaram it is not connecting to any webservice...it is just a simple Send Mail task...i will also try restarting the agent service..thanks..
