  i used SSIS n and try to send a mail .. but my SSIS is given error just like

  [Send Mail Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "The operation has timed out.".

  can any one give the suggestion where i m wrong or what i do for sending the mail through the SSIS ..

  That's not much to go on, but you should check to make sure your SMTP server is running and able to relay messages.

  I don't recall the error message I was getting, but I had a problem where McAfee was blocking SMTP from SSIS as potentially spam.
