In enterprise manager (sql 2000) one was able to select mutliple objects in the standard windows way of using a combination of ctrl & shift keys. You could then do things like drop them at the same time or generate a script for these.
How does one do this on 2005?

Same thing... However you must use the right pane to use the multi-select feature. I forget the name of the tab but there's one that list all the objects of the parent node. You can do what you need there...

In Management Studio when you select a folder in the Object Explorer (e.g. Tables) you should see a "Summary" window. If not select the View menu and select Summary or press F7. The summary view will list the objects in the folder. In this view you can multi-select objects.
