    I've been going through so very old Stored Procedures and I found an SQL code I can't quite remember what it did, can anyone please help?

     

    SELECT REPLACE(@status3,@sArea,'')

    Check out books online.  It replaces all occurances of the @sArea in @Status3 with nothing ('').

    Many thanks, I had just done that when you're reply came through, why I didn't do that in the first place I'll never know !
