    has anyone further examples vor the select pivot feature of 2005 ?

    are you trying to mimic the pivot table? if so, write your sql statement with option GROUP BY and use a matrix control to display it. just if you used a pivot table in xl.

    As Said above , Using Group by clause will help you in getting the results in a a pivot table format. just use the group by clause for all the coulmns u would like to show in the result.
