I'm thinking about taking some certification tests. Can anybody recommend a book for the 47-433 2008 Database development test. Thanks.
btw, My existing certs are really old, MCSD for vb6, and MCSD for Dot Net, so I have a clue, just looking to get current and avoid getting too lazy.

Thanks but the Microsoft book has poor reviews on amazon.com and I don't see any obvious alternatives. Has anybody actually used this book ?

Yes, I did, and I am sure a lot of other people have as well. The people that leave reviews on Amazon are the ones that used the book as their only means to prepare, and then failed the exam. BOL and real-world experience are the best references you'll find. The book is a glorified outline. Reading the book cover-to-cover will not guarantee you pass, but the material covered is the material you should know to claim the certification.
