    Hi Experts,

    can anyone please provide me some link,docs,free tools for security analysis of sql server database 2000 and 2005. I also need to analyze the security of application connecting to a DB, i know this need knowledge about apps.It would be of great help if someone can provide some ideas to how these security analysis have to be done.What are all the steps to be taken etc.

    All the products I've heard of that do that for you are quite expensive. You can find them by searching in Google/Live/whatever.
