Second level drill-down icon doesn't display properly

    Hello all.

    My report has two drill-down levels

    Top level - Region (visible)

    drill-down level - Market (toggle item Region)

    drill-down level - Client (toggle item Market)

    I see plus (+) icon next to Region but when I click on Region and get Market visible, there is minus (-) icon displayed next to Market though Client is still invisible. When I click on minus icon next to Market I get my Clients as expected and minus convets into plus (+). So the icon on the second drill-down level behaves exactly opposite from expected, though functionality is fine.

    I am hesitant to release this report to end users as this minus instead of plus icon is confusing.

    Please suggest what I am doing wrong.

    Hi,

    Go to the visibility property of Market and check for the initial appearance of the toggle image.

    If its expanded change it to collapsed.

    This should work...

    Could you specify exactly what control/property to look at? I can't find expand/collapse property...

    Right click on the Market textbox for its properties. Then go to the visibility tab.

    check for the following:

    Initial Visibility: Hidden

    Visibility can be toggled by: Region

    Initial appearance of toggle image : Collapsed

    Hi,

    I am working with SSRS 2008.

    InitialTogleState is Boolean. How can I set to Collapse?

    Hi all,

    I have the same problem, when i put the properti hidde to false, on the load of the report the drill-down icon is a plus(+)

    so i look at your answer but i can't find the option "initial appearance of toggle image" you say.

    i'm working on Visual studio 2010, if you know how to find this option that will be great.

    hi all again,

    i find the option initilToggleState is a boolean,

    if it's true seams that the minius(-) will be in the icon to drill down and if it's false seams that the plus (+) will be in the drill down icon, at the first load of the report.

    i hope it's help others.
