Hello Friends,
While reading another post about whether you should leave your script are your past employer or taking them with you, I was wondering what do you use for keeping your personal Script Library.
Do you just use an old fashioned approach of keeping everything on a folder and name it something meaningful, or do you have some kind of free software to organize your Script/CodeSnippet Library?
I have been using the old fashion way. Folders within folders and organized by topic: Backups tools, Space Issues, Performance Issues, etc.
The problem is that sometimes a script may belong to several folders and if I update/improve the script, I end up with several versions... As my library grows, it's been harder to keep it clean.
Suggestions?

I've started using the code snippet manager built into SQL Prompt. Not only does it make it easy to store the things, but I can put a quick key on them to retrieve them.

I use My TiddlyWiki[/url]. It takes a minute to get used to how to organize things (you create subfolders by entering [[subfoldername]] into the body-text-box of your heading. I have it on my USB flash drive and can use it anywhere. It's worth a look if you're interested. I'll be happy to answer any questions about it if you happen to have any and I'm able. 😉

I use SQL projects and a single solution. I then load them all into source control.

I also use Microsoft's OneNote. Too bad I don't have it at home, because you can set it up to access it anywhere via the net, I belive. You can also share it with others and lock-down what you don't want them to see.
