I need a script to export an existing DB in SQL2008.

Right click on user DB for which script is required -> Task - > Generate scripts and choose all items needed and then get the script to query window or to a file , this will only copy schema , database definition , data needs to be required to be export/Import wizard or copied using BCP OUT and BCP IN . or Backup database and restore it in required place , this will not get along with user permissions

Sorry if i sound like a n00b, but im quite new to being a junior dba, and i really dont understand all that you are explaining. Could you maybe explain it more in lamens terms, or give me a break down ? Id really appreciate it !

Would you please tell us what you intend to do with the 'scripted db'..what the end goal is? Is this for source control, the creation of an empty DB, are you intentionally excluding data?
