Hi,
I stepped in ETL (SSIS) from database track, i had a pretty good knoweldge of database and SSIS........problem comes when i need to develop custom script task in VB.Net. i do not have any experience of devlopment nor to any Object oriented programming language.
i do have OOP concept.
i wonder can any body suggest me good material (free) books or videos that take from begining to intermediate level of VB.Net development. In my work i need to parse diffent text files or produce customized format text files in SSIS packages. I also want to develop development skills, coz i have reallized it is inevitable to survive without having a good knoweldge of development.
my track was database to BI (SSIS).

Just search the Web for something like "vb.net beginner tutorial" (or similar) and you should get a whole bunch of useful stuff. And/or purchase a beginner vb.net book.
A good way to start is by going through the samples that come with the .NET SDK.
