Script out existing database mirroring setup

  Hi Gurus

  Is there any way by which we can script out existing database mirroring setup to be used later?
  Like we had major change implementation on one of production server and to implement the change i have to remove database mirroring set up from multiple databases and later on post implementation of change i have to rebuild all those mirroring setups again and that took so much time and effort. so i was wondering if there is any workaround for this specific type of situation that save time and effort for DBA's.

  Please share your valuable thoughts and suggestions.

  If you have ever gone through the steps to set up a mirror, you should not be bothered with a rebuild. Mostly likely, it will not involve a rebuild because you can suspend or break the mirroring and resume/repair afterwards. If you have never done it and you inherited this from someone else. this is a good time to start doing it manually.
