Script for services installed SQL Server

  • Hi !!

I am wondering if there is script to determined what are service install on particular instance Like , Reporting , service with version or any hints so i can write script !!!

    Thanks

  • I've not had the need to do it myself but, if I did, I'd do a search for "Hey Scripting Guy". It's a website loaded with example PowerShell scripts that call WMI and the like to get this stuff.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
