I have a table called consultant.DimConsultantStatus. I want to change the schema to dbo but when I run the following command:
ALTER AUTHORIZATION ON consultant.DimConsultantStatus TO dbo;
It reports that is it completed sucessfully but when I refresh EMS it still reports it's owned by consultant.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

your statement
ALTER AUTHORIZATION ON consultant.DimConsultantStatus TO dbo;
just tells the system the object consultant.dimconsultantstatus is owned by dbo.
you should use
ALTER SCHEMA dbo TRANSFER consultant.DimConsultantStatus;
GO
Check bol.

That was the ticket. Thanks. I did not get past the ALTER AUTHORIZATION in BOL so I probably should have dug deeper. Thanks again.
