i restored a sql 2005 db on sp2 from serve A onto server B, i scripted the logins on the server B and then tried creating the ODBC connections on B as in A. This throws an error saying login failed, tcp/ip could not open.
I see some of the schemas are missing on B when compared to A, could this be the cause. Even if it is not the cause, do I need to create (script schemas from A) these schemas on B?
Thanks in Advance!!!

Yes, server B allowas remote access.
Now, when I restore the Db on server B, do the logins automatically access the schemas for the newly restored database for I created the logins on server B by scripting them from server A.
Thanks!!

Are you able to access any other database on this 2005 instance using ODBC connection?
