hi all
can anyone point me in the direction of nice simple info on how to schedule reports in sql 2005 ?
iv just started using reporting services - im pretty impressed (why buy crystal ?)
but i cant see how to set up a schedule to email the reports - can i even do so without using c, vb etc?
all help appreciated

If you're using the delivered SQL Report Dashboard the http address would be something like: http://ServerNameHere/Reports
Assuming you have deployed the reports to that location, you can then set up permissions, scheduling, snapshots, push deliveries etc... Its all done through the interface of the delivered report.
That is the only way I have managed reports that I have created with Reporting Services. I know there are other ways to deliver the reports and show them but I used the built in dashboarding provided. It is pretty handy and has a lot of nice features.

i just got my issue!
it was down to access control and user security - before when i could browse ok to //localhost/reports
but all i had was the option to run the report! now i have full access with the options you mention!:-D
