  Hi,

  I had a question about SSRS scale out keys, we have a production SSRS server (Server A) and want to refresh out UAT SSRS environment, we follow the normal process of backing up the ReportServer databases and restoring them along with the encryption key.

  This however then means I have two scale out keys on the UAT server (Server B), one for server A and one for server B. I want it to only have the one for Server B, and have both production and UAT environments separated from each other.

  Is there any issue with me removing server A from the scale out keys on the UAT server (Server B)?

  After a bit of thought I concluded this must be ok or you would never be able to update your development and UAT environments.

  I successfully removed the key and everything is fine.
