If I have a SQL Server 2005 Enterprise license, can a web farm installation for reporting services use a share database that is SQL Server 2005 Standard?
The reason that I ask is because our production environment is SQL 2005 Enterprise, and I want to create a reporting environment where the reporting services are installed on multiple servers, and point to a reporting database. I am trying to avoid spending an extra 80K for an enterprise license for my reporting servers.

As I read it, in Standard Edition it is not possible to have multiple SSRS instances use the same reporting database.
see for intance , that also points out other possible solutions (e.g.: use multiple "stand alone" SSRS instances, and spread either the reports or the users over the instances).
