sa password

    I recently changed the 'sa' password on a SQL 2000 box and some of the daily jobs on that box failed to execute. I had to go in and recreate the jobs for them to execute again. The error was Login failed for 'sa'. The packages used integrated security for connecting to the database.

    Any ideas why this would happen on few and not all packages? Has anyone else seen this before.

    Did you forget to update the sa password in the agent properties?   Note:  if you change this password via the Management Studio GUI for a SQL 2000 agent service, it will fail to update.  You can only update it via enterprise mgr.
