Hi Everyone,
I'm having problems adding a calculated RunningValue to my dataset in a Reporting Services project. I can get it to calculate just fine in a grid with the expression =RunningValue(Fields!Completed.Value, SUM, Nothing), but if I try and add this to my dataset (for a graph) it crashes on me.
Has anyone else had this problem? Are there work arounds? Is it because I'm running Vista?

I just ran into that same issue and I am using windows xp so I do not believe it's your OS. I believe this is a bug that Microsoft will need to address.
Try using the expression in the field itself until this issue is addressed.

Thanks Sam, I found the same thing. Moving it out of the dataset worked just find.

Great!. Glad to hear that 🙂 I hate to say but even though SSRS has more functionaloty than Crystal, it is still lacking some features.
