Hello,
I have a problem with running SSIS that I hope someone can help me with. We have a SQL Server that has Integration Services installed, and when our network admin remotes to that server, everything is fine. (ie, you can import/export data).
However, I do not have permission to remote to the server, so I need to be able to perform SSIS functions through the client installed on my PC. I do not see it in the menu and when I open the client, I do not have the same options that I see when our network admin is logged into the server. I reran the client installation on my PC and selected Integration Services. That install seemed to work, but I still do not see any additional options inside of the client. When I right click on the database and go to tasks, I still do not see the import and export options.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

I figured this out. I believe the cause was on old SQL EXPRESS installation I had on my PC. Once I uninstalled it along with all parts of the client, and then reinstalled the client, I am able to see the options.
